I just can't believe this!!! We (as well as our Olympic veteran friends, the Loveland family) were unable to get tickets for the Olympics! I don't get it, isn't there supposed to be a recession going on? Where are people getting all this money to buy these tickets up SO fast? It's getting frustrating. Really all we want are 4 tickets to the short track speed skating! This round of tickets were the pre-sale before the public sale. Of course, if I wanted to spend $1,200 a piece I wouldn't have a problem getting on of the hospitality packages. Um, I don't think so!! So here's hoping when the public sale opens up we can get some.
Here's the info Lesha ~ http://www.cosport.com/ this is where you get tickets. Here's where you sign up for emails for info in general.

my mom tried to buy tickets too... i think she bid for like $14k worth of tickets and only ended up getting four (and only for hockey). she had tried to get some for quite a few events (obviously she hoped that they didn't all go through, my dad would have killed her). Anyway, i don't know who is getting all of these tickets! I have given up the dream of being able to go, but good luck!
thanks for sending that video link, i loved it!
It is crazy isn't it. I had the same feelings when we tried in 2002. In the end, we found other ways to be involved that were fun.
My parents don't want to be anywhere near Vancouver when the Olympics come! They actually had thought about renting their house out to someone during that time since hotels are being snapped up so quick. As for me I dream of being at the gold medal figure skating event. That would be sooo awesome! But...it's just a dream!
That's a good dream Alana :)
Seriously though, the ticket sales are insane! I don't even think I'll try!
Do you wonder how crazy the Guide Meridian is going to be around that time? Yikes!
what a bummer! have you checked on Craigslist? I wonder if there are scalpers who are trying to sell them online. Good luck!
