Our Last Voice Lesson

(heavy sigh)! Wow! Amber is done with voice lessons. Once our kiddos graduate high school, if they want to continue their private lessons for voice, they are on their own. The Robert E. Lundquist Studio is simply AMAZING!!! We adore Bob! We have known Bob and his wife, Pat for many years now.

This picture is SO Bob!!!

Robert started taking piano lessons from Bob, so that tells you it's been a while.

Tabitha took voice lessons.

Amber took some piano lessons for a summer. Then she started up with voice lessons a few years ago. Bob does incredible things to improve our children's talents.

Maybe in a year or two David will do piano lessons. Then, maybe I will take some voice lessons. That would be fun. What do you think?

We will miss them!!!

GIRL POWER!!!

I'm not a runner AT ALL! So to say we are proud of Tabitha would be an understatement. This past Saturday, Tabitha ran her very first 5k race. It was called The Human Race.

Got her number!

Waiting for the race to start

Off she goes!

Isn't that scenery the most amazing route to run?

The finish line is in sight!

Tabitha ran and had her proceeds donated to the Womencare Shelter!

3 down, 1 to go!!! It's hard to believe that we are almost done getting our kids through school. There are times it seems like forever. Then there are days that speed by like lightening. We are SO proud of Amber!!

A way for Robert to be with us! Amber's love for her big brother who is getting ready to deploy for Iraq.

Look at all these pins on her stoll!

Silly string the Principal!!!

Picking up the "official" diploma

Temporary tattoos the band kids wore

My 3 kiddos

The 300th Post

WOW!!! That is a lot of posts! So to celebrate, I'm going to talk about AMBER!!! When you have a Senior in the house it really does seem that all activities revolve around them. Really, you think they are busy now, just wait until they enter their Senior year!! Having been through this 2 times before, we thought we were ready. HA!!!! Yeah, right!!!

But here we are ~ high school graduation is TOMORROW!! Just amazing that it's here already. But before high school graduation, Amber had her seminary graduation. Seminary is 4 years of early morning scripture study. Quite the accomplishment! Here's just a few pictures from Sunday.

Amber with her 2 teachers for the 4 years. Plus the other Seniors.

WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU AMBER!!!!

This made us Smile!! :D

But promise not to look too close at the dirt and crumbs okay?

When Lizzie was here back in December she lost or misplaced her fair share of her pacifiers. Most of them we found. Obviously, this one we didn't. I found it today in the pantry. Which was one of Lizzie's favorite places to explore, play and hide.

It just made me smile and miss my little sweetie pie.

Busy Weekend

But today you only get what we did on Saturday. It was the annual Farmer's Day Parade! And the last time we will ever have 2 kids in this parade. But was really fun was the High School and the Middle School combined and marched together as one band. WOW!! Were they ever the loudest band in the parade!!!

Our awesome trombone player!

Cutest Drum Majors!

Workin' but having the time of their lives.

Being the "bosses".

Yes, they were HOT uniforms.

And our traditional Edaleen Dairy stop.

Meet "Binwinkle"

He's our NEW Garden Gnome!!

"Lore has it that it is good luck to place a gnome in your garden, for they are known for sowing kindness and harvesting love. These small, bearded creatures with pointy hats care for your garden and all the creatures that visit it. With a gnome in your life, you might notice your garden is a little tidier, your blooms a little brighter - for gnomes enjoy performing honorable deeds without seeking recognition for them. They'll spend their days greeting you and visitors to your home, but when they need rest, they'll retire to their underground burrows. Don't expect a gnome to show you his burrow though, nor will he teach you their language. But you can know this: They kiss by rubbing noses, and they love the humans who share their homes with them.

This collectible gnome is named Binwinkle. He spends his days collecting mushrooms, planting flowers and helping with other chores in the garden. He's a hard worker and will bring many years of joy to you and your garden."

We snuck this little guy into the garden tonight. Anyone care to guess how long it will take Rob to notice he's there?

Hmmmm, something looks similar here!

This was taken today while we were on Skype with Robert and Lizzie

This was taken almost 17 years ago, right before we moved up to Washington

We've all said so many times that Amber and Lizzie are SO alike in SO many ways. And here is just one picture to compare.
LOVE IT!!!
