Too Adorable!

Ever since Lizzie has been born we have seen many similarities between her and her Auntie Amber. Proof is in the pictures!!

One day while skyping with these 2 characters before Robert left for Iraq.

At Disneyland on the Storybook Land Canal boats. At bit younger then Lizzie in the above picture but similar.

Lizzie got caught eating something she was supposed to wait to eat.

Amber pouting because she was losing at a game.

We just LOVE both these girls!!

I'd Like to Know....

....How did THIS happen????

Our baby has turned 14 yesterday!! Quite the fire on top of that cake isn't it?

He had a great day that started with his sister taking him to go see Tron in 3D

Out to dinner at Kyoto Steakhouse

A surprise stop at Target where he was told "You have 5 minutes to pick ANY Nerf gun you want. GO!!!!"

And then home to open more presents!

You can never be too old for Star Wars

And his really BIG present. Which was inside about 4 other bags, a wrapped and packing tape box. It contained tickets to go see Bon Jovi in March.

And it all ended with this challenge to his big brother when he comes to visit in May. And the Nerf gun he picked.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!!!

A little unexpected blogging break

Sorry about that! Didn't really plan on taking a break from blogging. It just wasn't on the priority list of "things to do". We have LOTS to catch up on. But lots going through this wacky brain of mine. Just been thinking lately.

What kind of life do you want? What are you doing to get it?

It snowed!!!

Remember this post?
http://nwandersonfamily.blogspot.com/2010/12/its-needs-to-snow-again.html

Well, here's our version.

Last night the snow was just so beautiful and powdery. It literally sparkled.

Having lived here for 17 years now, the snow never gets old. NEVER!! We got about 6" topped with some freezing rain so school was cancelled.

But the drifts in our front yard added extra beauty to the landscape.

And the heavy layer of ice made the trees stunning

Just glad it is melting just as quickly as it came.

No sign of Christmas

It's ALL put away!!

And in a way, I'm kind of glad to have my house back again. Of course, I think it's time to update the drapes around here. But doesn't that always happen after the holiday?

Our traditional photo at the top of the stairs!! They still get excited :D

Also another tradition-taking a picture around the table right before we eat.

We've had a theme going on this year - game and movies. We are just loving "The Game of Things"

And the BEST part? Getting to Skype with Robert all the way from Iraq

So do you have a traditional picture you always take at Christmas?

Slacker!!!

No, not you! ME!!!! We've been having too much fun, stress, making cinnamon rolls, having more birthdays (Tabitha, not me), late nights and getting back into the routine of daily life.

Now to just get the house packed away of this:

We'll catch you up with our happenings soon!
