A few of us gals were talking at Church yesterday with our song leader, Courtney and the "Mr. Yuk" picture (he was really cute!) she used to help the young kids remember the words to a song about when ugly words or thoughts come into your mind, how to get rid of them. Well, get this ~ there were a lot of the kids (ages 5 -11) that didn't know who Mr. Yuk even was!! So what happened to this sticker? I remember it was ALWAYS handed out at school for the parents to place on all your poison and household products.
It got me to thinking. I wonder if the kids even know what these two logo's represent?

Smokie used to come to our school, as did McGruff actually! "Take a bite out of crime!" I think Mr. Yuck was a good thing though... I wonder why they don't do it anymore?
I remember those! Mr. Yuck was around when my children were babies! We had him on all kinds of stuff but that's no replacement for locking chemicals up!
I don't remember Mr. Yuk. Of course I know the other two. I wonder if i forgot or never heard of him. hmmm
