Yep! That's a good way to describe it around here. I thought I'd take a few minutes before I pick up David (Amber & I are taking him for a treat at Starbuck's) from school to post this. It made me smile. Okay all you Star Wars and Lego's fans ~ this is for you!!! Thanks Kim!
Just a few more days before family and friends start to roll in. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!

That Ticker is Freaking Me Out!!!
10 days!!!! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Actually, I'm feel better about things tonight thanks to Laura McCarrey!!! She is AMAZING!!! (Okay, I'm using a lot of ! marks) She helped put things together in a way that I just couldn't get a grasp on things. I certainly am blessed to have this wonderful lady in my life!!! Thank you Laura!!!
As you can imagine we've been a bit busy around here. Tabitha had her bridal shower party. She got LOTS of fun and useful things. And some "silkies"!! You know those things that hubbies like but Daddy's don't want to think of their baby girls wearing?! Have you ever seen anyone look so darn cute in a ribbon hat? And to think she only broke 1 ribbon!!

Amber has been busy doing The Sound of Music. She was Sister Berthe (pronounced Bearta). All the nuns were OUTSTANDING!!! Amber's on the far right in this picture.

Monday was a great day! The sun was out and we went for a walk on the trail. LOVE this picture of Tabitha and David. Notice David wearing short sleeves? Well, it wasn't THAT warm but in the mid-50's.

And here's proof positive that I like to shock my family every once in a while. Me with an iron?!?! Amber HAD to take a picture to document the occassion. And of course, I'm ironing things for the wedding reception centerpieces.

Here's to another fun, crazy and busy 10 days!!!

I've been tagged!!!
Thanks to Alicia I get to have some fun!!! Yeah, I know, I need to get out more often or at least away from wedding things and kids! This isn't fair because I have a long middle name :O(
Here are the rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).
3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)
Louise
L - Loyal! I'm fiercly loyal until I get stabbed in the heart.
O - Oven. I LOVE to bake sweet treats. Cinnamon rolls ~ yummy! Yes, have no fear ~ we will have those again for our band trip fundraisers. (Cathy C. that was your recipe you gave me AGES ago too!)
U - Undo! A girls BEST friend when you scrapbook and make a mistake.
I - Illiterate about computer technology! Just tell me what button to push to get it to do what I want to do and I'm fine. So really, this blog has to be EASY if I'm doing it.
S - Sassy! Yep! Those of you who know me know I say what I think. But nicely :O)
E - Energetic! Ever seen me at Disneyland? Wwwwooooooooohhhooooooo!
Now, who to tag. Kay, Jenn M. (to bring her back to the blogging world), Christine (Today's her birthday!!!), Danile, Tabitha and Cathy C. (you 2 can get this started on a myspace bulletin & post on your home page).
And you know each post has to have some sort of eye candy. Definately her daddy's daughter!!

What made you happy this past week?
And what a week it has been for us!! Despite all the crazy stuff, like going to Michael's and JoAnn's more times in one week than I've ever wanted to in my entire life (thanks everyone for the coupons. Saved a bundle of $$), I HAD to look for the good side and some of the things that made me happy.
Here we go:
Our assembly crew for the wedding invitations! The bridal party and Mom of groom. Yes! We even put the groom to work! He's a great stuffer :O)
Before being put in envelopes
My new Mickey bowl. The colors make me HAPPY!!! I'm lovin' it!
We found Lizzie's dress for the wedding! And the best part was it was on massive clearance. Those great left over from the holiday racks! Originally $35, marked down to $14.99. Once we got to the register the clerk said it was on further clearance at $9.99!!! Woohoo!!!! Doin' a happy dance!! Because I really would have paid $35 just to have Lizzie be our little princess. Actually we had budgeted more but saving $$ is what it's all about! Lizzie will be wearing a halo of baby breath & little flowers on her head. Oooooooohhh, I can't wait!!!!
And last but not least ~ look who got her braces off!!!! Are those some set of beautiful teeth?!?! Amber's sssoooooo pretty!!!
Here's to another week of happy things!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Happy 2008 everyone!!! Boy, we're only 9 days into the new year and I'm already behind! HA!! I guess that mean I should have been caught up in 2007 but that didn't happen either! What's that saying? "I'm so far behind that I'm in first"! Yep! That's how I feel.
And starting out the New Year without a picture of our sweet little Lizze is just wrong. So here you go! This is currently my favorite!!!
This little pooh bear is now 11 weeks old!! Can you believe it? We miss her something terrible. As we do her mommy & daddy.

Lizzie's 1st Christmas
Surrounded by a FEW of her presents!Unfortunately we weren't able to be with Lizzie, Jessica and Robert for the actual day. But we got to talk with them and get our "Lizzie fix" by hearing her coo and laugh. I thought I'd share a few pictures that Jessica shared on her myspace. Enjoy!!!
Just look at that happy face!
Oh, I just want to plant kisses on those sweet cheeks!

Our Christmas Eve Blessing...
...came in the form of an off duty border patrol agent. Here's the story:
Tabitha was working today at Great Harvest Bread. A regular, everyday family came in to purchase their bread for the holiday about an hour before the store was closing. While eating his sample of bread the Father of this family turned around and looked out the business window out into the parking lot. The next thing the GH bread workers saw this man say a few swear words and bolt out the door. They didn't know what in the world was happening and had to wait for his return (as did his family).
Upon his return this off duty border patrol agent said he saw a man looking into the store with tatoos on his face. These were not ordinary tattoos, they were tattoos that were linked to a gang from Honduras. A gang that is notorious for robbery and killing at random. This off duty border patrol agent was not able to catch the man so he called the Bellingham police who stayed nearby to monitor the store to make sure he didn't return. All the GH workers received police escorts to the cars tonight.
You can bet we all hugged Tabitha a bit tighter when she came home tonight after having a wonderful Christmas Eve with Josh's family. Tonight we are grateful to our Heavenly Father by placing this border patrol agent in this Great Harvest store today and protecting our daughter and the other workers.
Have a wonderful Christmas!!! Hug your kids a bit tighter!

Happy Birthday to Amy!!
Well, happy birthday (yesterday) to me :O)since I'm the one that keeps up on the blog! It didn't start out like it was my birthday since there were SO many little errands to run. I had to take Rob in for a follow-up appointment for his cataract surgery (everything is good there), Amber to the ortho (braces come off in 3 weeks!), then to bassoon lessons (Amber has a recital on Saturday) and then Tabitha locked her keys in the van when she went to pay for gas so I got to rescue her since Rob couldn't drive yet.
But it got better once we got home for the day!! Rob supervised the kids making me dinner and I had my FAVORITE birthday dessert ~ mint chocolate chunk ice cream pie from Mallards. Nummy!!! And my gifts were wonderful! In addition to the usual kids presents Rob gave mine early. On Saturday we had 13th row tickets to see Bon Jovi in Vancouver, BC!! It was the most incredible concert EVER!!! INCREDIBLE!!! It was a 2 1/2 hour concert! Boy, did my feet ever hurt! There is a small slide show at the end of this entry and I was SO glad they let us take pictures. Jon Bon Jovi was literally 3 ft. from us during the time he came down off the stage. THAT made the concert for both me & Rob.
To get a sneak peek of our concert go to this link http://bonjovi.aeglive.com/holiday/ It takes a few minutes to download since there are 3 songs from OUR concert!!! You can imagine our excitment when we saw this!!!
Off to get ready for Christmas! So much to do and so little time to do it all in. But we'll enjoy just being together and relaxing and having fun. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy day ~ it made me feel loved.
