One of my favorite photos of Lizzie

Well, okay maybe 2. How about 3? Not much time today to post here. Go take a peek here to see some of the "crafty/scrappy" things I did for the wedding.

Look at those little feet!!!!

Sleeping in Grandpa's arms

And look what Lizzie was doing to Rob's thumb while sleeping. Just way to adorable! I think I'm going to have to enlarge that one for a scrapbook page all to itself.

Enjoy the day!! The sun is out!

Wedding Slide show

Starting to feel semi-sane again! (Extremely long post)

I'm actually seeing the living room floor again! But of course there is LOTS of things packed in wonderful Rubbermaid containers. I also LOVE Space Bags!!! I can't believe how much tulle I was able to store in those little suckers.

Now to talk a bit about the wedding! WHEW!!! Were we ever tired. It was just non-stop! But the BIGGEST surprise was that our Grandma Vicki was able to fly in last minute on Thursday night. We learned about the trip on Wednesday night and we decided to keep it a total surprise for Tabitha!!! It took some work to not spill the secret because we were SO excited but we did it. It was great!!!

She was starting to suspect something was going on as we were delaying leaving for the church. That and I got my camera out.

As Vicki walked around the corner out of the laundry room!

Tears of joy
Hugs of love

We all went over to the Church at 9:00 pm and stayed until 1:00 am decorating. We got the majority of it finished. Woohoo!!! We did come back on Friday and add more lights and straighten up. I tell you, I could not have pulled off the beauty of these decoration without the help of Laura MaCarrey and Celeste Mergen's. These two ladies were and are INCREDIBLE!!! THANK YOU MY DARLING FRIENDS!!!!!

Friday was very, very, very busy. Our photographer, Cassie and her assistant Tina flew in and Cassie whisked Tabitha & Josh off for a photo shoot. I caught a few sneaks on Cassie's computer and they were awesome! Vicki and I took Tina to Homestead to check-in and had to wait for 45 minutes for the stupid room to be ready. I was NOT impressed with the staff. Lucky the rooms were very comfortable. But by this time poor Tina was ready to crash as they had been up since 3:00 am OKC time. Robert & Jessica's plane was delayed almost 2 hours. BIG hooray's to Tom for picking them up. Another one we couldn't have done without his help. Vicki and I did the final shopping at Costco picking up the sheet cakes, fruit & veggies. Many people stared at our carts and were very curious about what we were doing with all that food. And they were only seeing half of it!! And literally, every time we turned a corner we saw someone we knew. GO FIGURE!!

Saturday we woke up at (what we lovingly call) the "butt crack of dawn". And it was literally downpouring rain. But we were okay with that!! Really, I just didn't want it to snow! We were prepared for the rain. I had about 5 umbrella's - 2 golf size. So BRING IT ON!!! But by the time we got out of the temple the rain had stopped and it was the most beautiful NW WA sky with big white puffy clouds and blue sky. But it was windy and cold so the "Belle" cape we rented from Ashley (Celeste's daughter) really came in handy and well as looking so beautiful. See the post above for the slide show of some shots that Kim took for us.

The happy couple were at the temple for pictures and video a lot longer than we had planned but, hey, that's okay. Really, we wanted them to get as many shots as they wanted. Cassie and David worked wonderful together and we can't wait to see the proofs of the photos as well as David's video. As soon as their work is posted on their websites I will let you know. Here are a few more that Cassie sent me.

We were only about 45 minutes late to the wedding family dinner. We ate at Pastazza in their private banquet room and it was PERFECT!!! A great time to just relax and be with people we love. And of course get in a little of Lizzie holding time while Jessica & Robert ate wasn't bad either.

Tina & Cassie relaxing a little.

Lynette, Vicki & Seth

Grandma & Grandpa Frick (Josh's grandparents), Amber & Chris (Josh's brother)
Leslie, Sarah (Josh's sister), Brittany (Josh's cousin) & Jim (Father of the groom)

And off to the reception!!! Arriving right on time at 7:00 pm. I did want to get their a bit earlier but I KNEW I had the best people heping get everything set up and ready to go. I made my heart swell with love as I walked in as saw so many of my friends pitching in and doing what was needed to have things just right. The reception went PERFECT!!! We had the LHS Jazz band for our entertainment.

Amber plays the piano in the band
and she got to WOW her big brother (she followed in his footsteps with an Anderson on the piano) with her playing. Robert also took a turn "tickling the ivories" with "his" song ~ Cleveland Rocks (from the Drew Carry show). If you've ever seen Robert play this song, you KNOW why it's "his" song. His piano runs and the reach of his hands on this piece are AMAZING!!! And it was such a little thing but it meant the world to Tabitha for him to play it.

Then there were the tradition dances:
Bride & Groom ~ ALL for Love by Bryant Adams
Bride & Daddy ~ I'll Always Love You by Whitney Houston
Bride & Brothers ~ Thank You for Loving Me by Bon Jovi

Oh boy, were the tears flowing!!! What was the best though was during the brothers song. Josh was just getting ready to cut in on Robert and Mr. David just ducked right underneath Josh's arm and literally slid right in between and got Tabitha! It was just too funny. But then the emotion of it all hit David. He literally started sobbing while dancing with Tabitha. It was just pulling on those heart strings. You could easily tell how much David LOVES his sister. Cassie even got a few shots that I hope came out. But I have that photo etched in my mind FOREVER!

We got the bride & groom off at about 9:30 or so. And then the clean-up begins. We had some small problems with not having enough space for people and stuff but had WONDERFUL help in Mary Hancock, Christian (the best man) & Lynette. And we got home around 11ish with a living room overflowing!!! And sweet little Lizzie did pretty good with all the people.

Sunday Tab & Josh & his family came over for food and watching them open their gifts.

Lizzie had a bit of a hard time that day but Rob & I just took turns loving her and taking her away from the crowds.

And David even got some belly laughs out of her. But I'll save those pictures for another post later. Lizzie's so cute in these that she needs her own post :O)

12 Days since the wedding!

Well, the last wedding guest left on Monday (my brother) and now we've really started heading down the "let's crash & burn" hill. Our living room is STILL filled with wedding stuff that I'm slowly getting into boxes to store in the attic. Yes! Call when you need tulle (blue & silver), vases/hurricane globes, or all things wedding.

Anyway, I just got back from here! Thanks to Tabitha for my gift. Boy, I'm one very relaxed, happy momma right now.

Give me a few more days and I'll blog about the wedding. But if you want to see a few sneak peeks go see our awesome photographer put up on her blog. I'm going to go broke buying pictures!!! Here's a teaser photo taken by "Auntie Kim".

Crazy busy!!

Yep! That's a good way to describe it around here. I thought I'd take a few minutes before I pick up David (Amber & I are taking him for a treat at Starbuck's) from school to post this. It made me smile. Okay all you Star Wars and Lego's fans ~ this is for you!!! Thanks Kim!

Just a few more days before family and friends start to roll in. LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!

That Ticker is Freaking Me Out!!!

10 days!!!! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Actually, I'm feel better about things tonight thanks to Laura McCarrey!!! She is AMAZING!!! (Okay, I'm using a lot of ! marks) She helped put things together in a way that I just couldn't get a grasp on things. I certainly am blessed to have this wonderful lady in my life!!! Thank you Laura!!!

As you can imagine we've been a bit busy around here. Tabitha had her bridal shower party. She got LOTS of fun and useful things. And some "silkies"!! You know those things that hubbies like but Daddy's don't want to think of their baby girls wearing?! Have you ever seen anyone look so darn cute in a ribbon hat? And to think she only broke 1 ribbon!!
Amber has been busy doing The Sound of Music. She was Sister Berthe (pronounced Bearta). All the nuns were OUTSTANDING!!! Amber's on the far right in this picture.

She was also in the "party scene". She's in the center in black.

Monday was a great day! The sun was out and we went for a walk on the trail. LOVE this picture of Tabitha and David. Notice David wearing short sleeves? Well, it wasn't THAT warm but in the mid-50's.

And here's proof positive that I like to shock my family every once in a while. Me with an iron?!?! Amber HAD to take a picture to document the occassion. And of course, I'm ironing things for the wedding reception centerpieces.

Here's to another fun, crazy and busy 10 days!!!

I've been tagged!!!

Thanks to Alicia I get to have some fun!!! Yeah, I know, I need to get out more often or at least away from wedding things and kids! This isn't fair because I have a long middle name :O(

Here are the rules:
1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.

2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).

3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.

4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)

Louise
L - Loyal! I'm fiercly loyal until I get stabbed in the heart.

O - Oven. I LOVE to bake sweet treats. Cinnamon rolls ~ yummy! Yes, have no fear ~ we will have those again for our band trip fundraisers. (Cathy C. that was your recipe you gave me AGES ago too!)

U - Undo! A girls BEST friend when you scrapbook and make a mistake.

I - Illiterate about computer technology! Just tell me what button to push to get it to do what I want to do and I'm fine. So really, this blog has to be EASY if I'm doing it.

S - Sassy! Yep! Those of you who know me know I say what I think. But nicely :O)

E - Energetic! Ever seen me at Disneyland? Wwwwooooooooohhhooooooo!

Now, who to tag. Kay, Jenn M. (to bring her back to the blogging world), Christine (Today's her birthday!!!), Danile, Tabitha and Cathy C. (you 2 can get this started on a myspace bulletin & post on your home page).

And you know each post has to have some sort of eye candy. Definately her daddy's daughter!!

What made you happy this past week?

And what a week it has been for us!! Despite all the crazy stuff, like going to Michael's and JoAnn's more times in one week than I've ever wanted to in my entire life (thanks everyone for the coupons. Saved a bundle of $$), I HAD to look for the good side and some of the things that made me happy.
Here we go:
Our assembly crew for the wedding invitations! The bridal party and Mom of groom. Yes! We even put the groom to work! He's a great stuffer :O)

Before being put in envelopes

My new Mickey bowl. The colors make me HAPPY!!! I'm lovin' it!

We found Lizzie's dress for the wedding! And the best part was it was on massive clearance. Those great left over from the holiday racks! Originally $35, marked down to $14.99. Once we got to the register the clerk said it was on further clearance at $9.99!!! Woohoo!!!! Doin' a happy dance!! Because I really would have paid $35 just to have Lizzie be our little princess. Actually we had budgeted more but saving $$ is what it's all about! Lizzie will be wearing a halo of baby breath & little flowers on her head. Oooooooohhh, I can't wait!!!!

And last but not least ~ look who got her braces off!!!! Are those some set of beautiful teeth?!?! Amber's sssoooooo pretty!!!

Here's to another week of happy things!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Happy 2008 everyone!!! Boy, we're only 9 days into the new year and I'm already behind! HA!! I guess that mean I should have been caught up in 2007 but that didn't happen either! What's that saying? "I'm so far behind that I'm in first"! Yep! That's how I feel.
So here's a little something that totally cracked me up. (Thanks, Kelly!)

And starting out the New Year without a picture of our sweet little Lizze is just wrong. So here you go! This is currently my favorite!!!
This little pooh bear is now 11 weeks old!! Can you believe it? We miss her something terrible. As we do her mommy & daddy.
