Bellwood Acres ~ Yep! Needed more apples and peanut butter!
On Friday Mr. David had to have his 6th grade well check and SHOTS!!! 4 of them to be exact. Poor thing! He really was a brave boy until that very last shot which the nurse warned him would sting. And sting it did. David is in the 90% for height and 79.5% for weight. At least he's not as tall as Robert was at this age. So David got a Brave Patient certificate for a mini pizza at Papa Murphy's and this from Mom (+Tylenol)

Tylenol goes down better with Edaleen Dairy ice cream ~ super size :D
On Saturday Rob & I tackled the downstairs bedroom. We can see the carpet now!!! But the best part was we got a phone call from this guy:

It was SO good to hear his voice!
And these sweet things on Sunday:

Wouldn't you say that makes for a perfect weekend?
And look what came home today with David.

Another brass instrument in the house for the next 6 years.
And of course Amber had to try it out.

They did move up to the bedroom and close the door :D Now to go start the bbq for dinner!!

Trombone eh? Thats sweet! Jacob and Eric both played the trombone in my family :)
WONDERFUL pictures as always! :)
Guess what? Andrea and I made the cheese muffins last night that you left the recipe for. (Thank you!) They were a BIG hit! And so easy to make! Yummy...
We made homemade strawberry ice cream last night too. Trying to eek out the last bit of summer we can while the fruit is still good. My mouth is going to water when you start showing off the peaches you'll have soon. I miss WA!!!
Love ya!!
MMMM!! I shouldn't have seen that ice cream cone! As soon as Jeff gets home I'm making him take me to Cold Stones!
Sounds like an awesome weekend!
GO DAVID!!!!!!
This California girl agrees that 75-80 degrees is just nice, not hot! I love the sweet pictures of Lizzie and her family. Isn't it hard having the grandbabies so far away!?! I may have two close by, but the babies are way too far away! Congrats to David and his new instrument. Sierra is going to be playing the violin, which is what I played many years ago!
Finally, some good weather for you all!!!
