Warm yummy-ness!

Okay, so I readily admit I'm not Pioneer Woman! But I sure do love her recipes and the way she documents every step. She had a dairy recipe contest recently and has been posting the 5 finalist's recipes. These just looked way too good to not try. So last night I tried these yummy little things.
Cheese Muffins (submitted by Fig)
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups shredded colby-jack cheese
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) melted butter (I used salted)
Whisk together dry ingredients, then stir in cheese.
In a separate bowl, whisk egg, milk, and butter together. Pour milk mixture into dry ingredients and stir with a spoon to combine.
Bake in greased muffin tins at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Makes 12.
Oh, the choir of angels singing!!!!! And really so easy to make and completely and utter delicious to eat. They have been requested the next time we have chili or soup from the fam. Woohoo!! A dinner table hit :D

Yes, except instead of yeast and letting them rise it's just a mix and bake using baking powder. So really a quick thing for dinner.
