So being the good Mom I am, I made sure they were as close as they could get without being in the dugout. I'm sure they would have liked that too if I could have arranged it ;D
Hey, I was just happy it was giveaway night:
We have a running joke around here about this little mascot. Rob can't stand him. Yes, I foresee some torturing going on here. And I didn't mind because the weather was fabulous for an evening of baseball.
Anyway, I had some extra daughters along:
Pam, Amber, Tabitha and Gena
Now let me tell you, it was quite the entertainment to sit back and watch all the flirting going on between the boys in the dugout and these girlies. You know the kind where the boys try to look, but not LOOK like they are looking? And the girls didn't have one problem looking in that direction either. I think the girls must have inspired the team as the Bells won 16 - 1. With some really great plays!
And thanks to Dawn Hatch, she made sure that these girls met their "favorites".
Number 24 - Jacob Coats
Number 19 - Ben Grubb
Number 4 - Marshall Yanzik
And Ryan - the team "cheerleader". He's so awesome!
Now there is a story behind this picture
Let's just say that Ben didn't have to be encouraged in any way, shape or form to have his arm around Tabitha. In fact, I'm positive he enjoyed it immensely! Because here he is hugging on my girl even before Gena and number 4, Marshall came into the picture. And he kept his arm around her way after we were done with the photos. Long enough for me (in my mind) to say "Okay, you can let go of my daughter now! Too bad he didn't take the opportunity to ask her for her name, etc. Maybe Dawn can arrange that too ;)
