I never had any regrets about installing central air in our house in Lynden. I would have melted without it. I was never so miserable as the week or two in May the first year we lived there when it was SO HOT. The AC went in shortly after that. Everyone up there says that you don't need air conditioning. They are all in denial.
Try 87% humidity!!!!! With no AC!
