Please go take a look at this!!!
I know some of you have seen this before and I talked about it before as well. But for some reason, we all need to remember that the temper tantrums, the fevers, the runny noses, the poopy diapers, the endless amounts of homework, the once every 5 year weekend getaway (for those not blessed with relatives nearby to watch the kids) won't always be the norm.
I remember feeling like the day would NEVER come when our oldest could babysit the rest of the kids (yes, he got paid). And guess what? It came before we knew it. And then this happens:
You're putting them on a plane for the first time by themselves!
You're watching them walk away to their dorm at college!
SO, enjoy where you are! Enjoy the "station"! Enjoy EVERY minute!!! Because truly it's the "circle of life" just the way God intended it to be.

Too true! Every day is going by way too fast!
Awww, this post made me cry! I'm going to go cuddle with my baby now. :)
Thanks Amy... I'm all cryin now... :P It does go by way too fast... (I'll have to remember that with the tantrums :)
thanks Amy :)
Thanks Amy, I needed that! Jon has been offshore (on an oil rig) since Tuesday of last week and won't be back until Thursday. I have DEFINITELY been feeling overwhelmed (Sacrament meeting yesterday was the worst of my mothering-life.) Thanks for the reminder to enjoy them now!
Wow, you're sure right about the circle of life. We've lived that one, haven't we Amy? Every stage IS a blessing. Thanks for the reminder!
Aw!!! <3
I have to remind myself of stuff like this sometimes. Thanks for the perspective!
