The Fastest Weekend EVER!!!

The time just went way too fast for our liking and before we knew it, it was time to make the return trip to the airport to say our goodbyes. But here is just some of the fun that we had.

Then off to dinner where we taught Lizzie a new trick (sorry Jessica) while we waited for dinner.

Vancouver, BC Temple

Such a wonderful blessing to have this temple be SO close to us. Right now we travel 2 hours to Bellevue when we attend the temple. To have a temple 20 minutes (minus the border wait) from our house is simply amazing. Before a temple is dedicated, there is a public open house. The open house started on Friday and continues until April 24th. Both Rob and I had the pleasure of volunteering on Saturday. Rob was "traffic" and yes, he got to wear a stylish orange vest. And I helped place shoe coverings on people going inside. To answer the question, no ~ there is nothing symbolic about these shoe coverings. it's just to keep the carpets clean. And judging from the 4 hours we spent slipping these on people's shoes, there were some that REALLY needed it.



There is a reason why I'm wearing gloves and a leather jacket. It was C.O.L.D. and I was outside for 4 hours. I can't believe where I am feeling sore the next day. We all had some good exercise.

We Just LOVE this place!

In downtown Fairhaven!

Of course, we can't go there very often or we'd be big cupcakes ourselves. :D We just think this place has the cutest decor. And of course, the cupcakes are tasty too.




We still had a little bit of time to kill so we stopped in at a toy store called the Fairhaven Toy Garden. CUTE!!! Great games and "old fashion" style of toys. You can see the happiness in Amber's face from this find.


She LOVES Sock Monkey. We recommend you check this place out. It's always good to "shop local" and support the Mom & Pop shops.

Last Friday when I dropped Tabitha off at Great Harvest Bread, I just had to go inside and look at all the Honey Bunnies. I never order one (we have our own traditions) but these are MAJORLY popular. And why wouldn't they be with faces like this?

And for some reason this just tickled my funny bone ~ bunny butts

It's really happening!!! This came home amid squeals of joy and happiness!!!


And Senioritis has REALLY set in. We just have to get through our final Senior Project check and it will be semi-smooth sailing. June 11th will be here before we know it!!
